Seventh fatal crash during Memorial Day weekend: Motorcyclist killed in Hales Corners

HALES CORNERS (WITI) -- It is the seventh fatal crash to occur during Memorial Day weekend in southeastern Wisconsin. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office confirms a 56-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Janesville Road in Hales Corners Sunday, May 24th.

Police say the man was operating a motorcycle traveling westbound on W. Forest Home Avenue when he left the roadway and crashed.

The man died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

Authorities will continue to investigate this accident.

We saw more than 10 crashes in southeastern Wisconsin during Memorial Day weekend -- seven of them fatal crashes.
