Caught on camera: Police need your help to identify bank robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are asking the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing the Tri-City National Bank near 18th and National Ave. just after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19th.

The suspect entered the bank, presented the teller with a note demanding money, obtained the money, and then fled from the scene.

The suspect is described as a male, black, 25-35 years-old, 5’8”-5’10” tall, and between 150-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a white “100” logo on it, a black long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, black sunglasses, and a black backpack with reflector stripes on the shoulder straps.

    So whats the point of having bullet proof glass all around if you just gonna give up the money anyway? If I was that teller upon reading that note he passed while arrogantly talking on the phone,I would have knocked on the glass and waved him the universal peace sign.

    Suspect’s note may have included attacking other customers. Also recording of sound may help identify suspects – in the future.

      Recordings that include audio are not admissible in court rendering the video useless. I don’t know why.

    Even with bullet proof glass, bank tellers have to comply with robberies. Failure to do so can jeopardize the lives of the customers inside the grocery store.. IT’S A POLICY AT MOST BANKS.
