Developing: Sheriff's Office Explosive Ordnance unit called out to New Berlin for possible grenade

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman tells FOX6 News the Explosive Ordnance Detection Unit (bomb squad) has responded to a home in New Berlin for a report of a possible grenade.

We're told the EOD vehicle responded to the report of a possible grenade found by a resident who was cleaning a basement on Tuesday evening.

It happened around 7:00 p.m.
