Two-alarm fire damages two homes near 4th & Melvina; fire officials call it “suspicious”
MILWAUKEE -- A two-alarm fire damaged two homes near 4th and Melvina early Monday morning, July 20th.
The fire broke out at a vacant home shortly after 2:30 a.m. Officials say the fire then spread to a home next door. Officials say a woman and two dogs were able to escape safely.
One firefighter suffered a minor leg injury while battling the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unknown, however, officials are calling it suspicious at this time.
