Police: Three in custody following pursuit of vehicle involved in armed robbery

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say three people are in custody following the pursuit of a stolen vehicle involved in an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday night, October 8th.

Police say this incident began shortly before 8:00 p.m.

Officers tried to perform a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle, which lead to police beginning to pursue the vehicle near N. 1st Street and Burleigh Street in Milwaukee.

The vehicle eventually ended up at Sherman Boulevard and Garfield Ave. in Milwaukee around 8:00 p.m., where the three occupants of the vehicle bailed.

All three were taken into custody.

It is not believed anyone was injured.

We're told firearms were recovered from the vehicle.

No further details have yet been released.
