120th homicide this year: Man shot & killed in home near Appleton & Melvina

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday morning, October 20th.

Police say a man was fatally shot inside a home near Appleton and Melvina around 6:15 a.m. The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Michael  Schoos.

MPD is currently searching for suspects and seeking a motive.

This is the city's 120th homicide this year. There were 86 homicides during all of 2014 in Milwaukee.
