Death investigation underway in Kenosha; body found near Lake Michigan

KENOSHA -- A death investigation is underway in Kenosha County after a body washed up on the shore of Lake Michigan Sunday, November 1st.

Law enforcement officials got the call around 8:00 a.m.

A homeowner living on Sheridan Road tells FOX6 News he spotted the body while he was out walking along the beach on Sunday morning.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is leading this investigation.

The victim hasn't been identified -- and the circumstances leading up to this death are under investigation.
