Packers vs. Panthers: Teams with best records in NFC to do battle Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers will square off in a battle of the teams with the two best records in the NFC on Sunday, November 8th. You'll be able to watch the game only on FOX6. Kickoff is set for noon -- and then we invite you to stick around for postgame coverage after the final second has ticked off.

According to Packers.com, Sunday starts a stretch that sees Green Bay playing NFC opponents in eight of the final nine games, including the next six contests.

The Packers and Panthers are the only two teams in the NFL with 4-0 records against the NFC this season. They are facing each other in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2007-08. Green Bay is 8-4 against the Panthers during the regular season, including 5-2 at Carolina. The Packers have scored 30-plus points in all four games against the Panthers under Head Coach Mike McCarthy.

After playing the undefeated Broncos last week, the Packers will be the third team in NFL history to play teams 6-0 or better in consecutive games (1934 Detroit and 2004 Pittsburgh), and the first to play both games on the road.

After Carolina, the Packers square up against their division rivals. Green Bay will host the Detroit Lions on November 15th, tackle the Vikings in Minnesota on November 22nd and host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving evening.
