What do they accept?
Appliances
Refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, ranges, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, furnaces, hot water heaters, range hoods, irons, steamers, and more. The appliance must work completely and we prefer to take appliances that are no more than ten years old, however there are some exceptions. If you’re not sure if we’ll be interested in your appliance, give us a call.
Furniture
Sofas, chairs (recliners, office, dining, etc.), tables, desks, dressers, bed frames, filing cabinets, bookshelves, and other wood furniture items.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept hide-a-bed sofas or any type of mattress at this time. Upholstered furniture must be free of stains, tears, or pet damage.
Cabinets
We accept most kitchen and bathroom cabinets with their doors. We also accept countertops that are with cabinets, and granite or hard stone countertops without cabinets.
Home Decor
Framed wall art, framed mirrors, statues, antiques, area rugs in very good condition, and large vases and planters. If you’re not sure about your item, please contact us.
Building Materials, Tools, and Hardware
Solid core doors, new or like new vinyl windows, full sheets of plywood and particle board, lumber (at least 6′ long with no nails or screws), new insulation, trim, bricks, blocks, hardwood, new flooring (tile, carpet, wood), ceiling tiles, nails, screws, nuts, bolts, hinges, knobs, shutters, unused shingles, ladders, hand tools, and working power tools.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept any type of used flooring, used insulation, nails or screws that are not separated by type and size, or hollow core doors.
Landscaping and Outdoors
Lawn mowers, edgers, weed wackers, snow blowers, leaf blowers, wood chippers, garden tools, lawn art, ladders, gardening materials and more. All power items must work and have all of their components.
Lighting and Electrical
Chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps, and ceiling fans. Lighting must have all components and it must work. We accept outlets, switches, new (in box) light bulbs, conduit, wiring, and more.
Plumbing and Bath
Toilets that are less than 10 years old, sinks, pipes, fittings, hardware vanities, grab bars, medicine cabinets, and more.
We cannot accept toilets over 10 years old or anything with chips, cracks, or stains. We are not accepting bathtubs at this time.
Paint and Supplies
New or unused paint sprayers, unused brushes, rollers, trays, and tape. We accept only unopened, never used gallons and quarts of oil based and latex paint.
We do not accept used or opened containers of paint, spray paint, or paint that is known to have frozen.
