Smash & steal: Milwaukee police need help identifying suspect in Citgo gas station burglary

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking the public to help identify a suspect who is accused of burglarizing the Citgo gas station at 8632 N. 107th Street (near 107th and W. Heather Avenue) around 3:40 a.m. on December 11th.

According to police, the suspect forced entry into the front door by kicking it and then used a brick-like object to smash the glass. He then used the same object to break the window at the counter and grabbed numerous cigarettes. The suspect fled from the scene on foot.



The suspect is described as a black male, with a medium build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, coat, jeans, boots, and gloves.
