Police: 28-year-old woman shot, injured near 24th & Hopkins; no one in custody

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened on Monday afternoon, December 21st.

It happened near 24th and Hopkins around 1:00 p.m.

Police say a 28-year-old woman heard shots and took off running. She later felt pain to her wrist, and she realized she'd been shot.

She is expected to survive.

No one is in custody in connection with this shooting.
