MILWAUKEE -- Expert baby cuddler, experienced snuggler, infant comforter -- all the ways to describe Mary Gilles-Schmidt. Once a week Mary spends her day at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin -- specifically in the neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NIC-U.

As one of only 30 people who come in just to hold infants, Mary's job might be the most sought after volunteer position at the hospital -- and one of the most impactful.
