MILWAUKEE -- From the Lake Front Gateway Project to the Zoo Interchange. Ryan Luck with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to talk about everything that's going to impact your commute.

Lakefront Gateway Project:

Mid-week the week of 2/15: Broadway will be opened to 2-way traffic between Clybourn Street & St. Paul Avenue. Currently Broadway is a 1-way Southbound. The City of Milwaukee is expected to make this a permanent change in the traffic pattern.

February 22nd, the I-794 West (Northbound) exit ramp to Michigan / Lincoln Memorial Drive is scheduled to close long term through end of July. The Milwaukee Street exit will remain for access to Downtown. In the event that this route is congested the following alternate routes are available:

1. From the south, take Kinnickinnic to 1st Street to Water Street to downtown.
2. From the south (traveling on I-794), follow Exit 1C and north toward Green Bay (on I-43 North). Travel north to Exit 73A, WIS 175 and exit toward McKinley Avenue Travel east on McKinley Avenue to downtown.
3. From the south on I-94, follow Exit 1D (Plankinton Avenue). Turn left (north) on Plankinton Avenue to downtown.
4. From the south, take 6th Street to downtown.
