Panthers fall short to Crusaders 80-76

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Panthers fell short to Valparaiso Crusaders 80-76 as they went head to head at the Panther Arena in Milwaukee Friday night, February 26th.

Jordan Johnson would help the Panthers take a five-point lead at the half, but Valpo would come back and lead late in the second half until Akeem springs back his way in and makes a tough bucket inside -- tying the game at 59.

Heading into overtime, the Crusaders jump out to a five-point lead.

The Panthers, though, claw their way back and take a one-point lead on Matt Tiby's layup with :48 seconds to go.

Valpo's Keith Carter answers with a three pointer to put the Crusaders up for good.

UWM put up a good fight, but falls 80-76 in overtime.
