Latest: First Chihuahuas from the Racine hoarding rescue up for adoption

OZAUKEE COUNTY -- The first Chihuahuas from the Racine hoarding rescue on Monday will be available for adoption Friday, March 18th at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Ozaukee Campus.

Jellybean, Olive, Paco, Poppy, Eloise and Minnie (Beagle) have all been spayed or neutered, microchipped and given initial vaccinations.

Two other dogs, Eloise the Chihuahua in Ozaukee and Minnie the Beagle in Racine, have also been cleared for adoption.

Adoptions are first-come, first-served, as long as it’s a good fit, and no holds are being taken for them.

The WHS Ozaukee Campus opens Friday at 2:00 p.m. and is located at 630 West Dekora Street in Saukville.
