58-year-old man not hurt when his truck caught fire on I-94EB near Sunnyslope Road

WAUKESHA -- Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say all lanes of I-94 EB have reopened at Sunnyslope Road following a vehicle fire Thursday, May 12th.

Officials with the Brookfield Fire Department tell FOX6 News the call for this incident came in around 4:30 p.m.

A Dodge Dakota caught fire on I-94.

The lone occupant, a 58-year-old man, wasn't hurt.

Fire officials say the fire started somewhere in the dashboard area on the driver's side of the vehicle. The truck was a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The scene was cleared around 5:15 p.m.
