Police: 28-year-old man shot, wounded near N. 9th & Burleigh

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say a 28-year-old man was shot and wounded near 9th and Burleigh on Saturday evening, June 18th.

Officials say the initial investigation reveals a subject armed with a gun confronted the 28-year-old man around 9:00 p.m. During the confrontation the suspect shot the victim.

The victim was taken to a hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department. He is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Police say they are seeking a suspect in this case.
