Police: 29-year-old man shot in right arm near Appleton and Congress

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday afternoon, June 21st near Appleton and Congress.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot once in his right arm. He is believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries. The shots were fired from a car shortly before 3:30 p.m.

The victim was able to drive himself to a hospital for treatment.

Police recovered three shell casings at the scene.

No one has been taken into custody in connection with this shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
