Attention drivers: More changes are coming to I-94, Zoo Interchange

MILWAUKEE -- Construction is really picking up -- with changes coming to I-94 and the Zoo Interchange. Mark Klipstein with he Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp with the details.

Zoo Interchange Project:

The girder setting went very well last weekend and crews were able to complete that work ahead of schedule. The next major effort that will require an extended weekend closure of I-94 East and the Zoo Interchange system ramp from I-94 East to I-41/894 South is scheduled for August 19th. The section of girders being set span over I-94 East, so a full closure of I-94 East will be required. Additionally, on that weekend the ramp from I-94 East to I-41/45 North will close until Spring. Ryan will provide additional detail in the coming weeks.
(In a separate email I plan to send some timelapse video of last weekends girder setting for your use)
