"There's a lot of excitement here for the Trump/Pence ticket. Coming out of Cleveland -- Republicans are really united behind the fact that we need to change the system that has kept so many people down and we're excited for that this November," Pat Garrett with the Republican Party of Wisconsin said.

Earlier Wednesday, Donald Trump and Pence were in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, supporters began lining up for Wednesday evening's event in Waukesha at 2:30 in the afternoon. Tickets for the rally were made available online.

Among the first in line was a young woman who was at a Trump rally in Chicago -- cancelled due to protests.

"It was absolutely insane. We were locked in the parking garage. It's all worth it. I love Donald Trump," she said.

Todd Hannimann planned to sell Trump towels in the crowd.

"Had some friends come up with a couple different terms and we decided to throw it on a towel," Hannimann said.

Meanwhile, for opponents, there's the "Rump Towel."

"If you don't like the guy, we put together some of the phrases he said back in the beginning of the time. I brought these two. If there's any conflict or different feelings, I can say 'you like him' or 'you don't' -- all bases covered," Hannimann said.

Those with the Republican Party say unity will be a key theme of Pence's speech.
