MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's dance scene is exploding with talent. And now there's a new place for them to show the rest of the city what they've got. John Hassig of the Marcus Center joins Real Milwaukee to tell us all about the DanceMKE.

DanceMKE is a new weekly dance competition featuring Milwaukee dance artists from any discipline. Twenty groups have been selected to battle it out for three consecutive weeks starting August 2nd. A panel of local dance experts will select the top three groups from each week who will advance to the finals on August 23.
