Oak Creek officials working to bring new businesses to former Caterpillar campus

OAK CREEK -- Officials in Oak Creek are working to bring new businesses to the former Caterpillar Global Mining campus.

The city is reportedly considering a tax incremental financing district for the 26-acre campus on Howell Avenue.

The property has two large office buildings with land where a third could be built.

Caterpillar announced plans in 2015 to shut down its operations there, and has listed the land for sale.
