Mukwonago man killed when his motorcycle was struck by car head-on

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Waukesha County Sheriff's officials say one person was killed in a crash involving two vehicles and two motorcycles that happened on Friday night, August 5th.

The call for this incident came in around 11:30 p.m. for the crash on County Highway NN, west of Jericho Drive in Eagle.

Sheriff's officials say it was reported that a vehicle headed westbound on Highway NN attempted to pass another westbound vehicle.

Two motorcycles were headed eastbound when the passing vehicle struck the lead motorcycle head-on.

The driver of the lead motorcycle, a 52-year-old  Mark Galluzzo of Mukwonago, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second motorcycle, a 46-year-old Town of Vernon man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the striking vehicle, a 19-year-old Palmyra woman, was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

County Highway NN was closed for several hours while the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department conducted the investigation.
