MILWAUKEE -- The winners of the Wisconsin State Fair's fourth annual "Sporkies" competition were announced Wednesday, August 10th! FOX6's Angelica Duria served as a judge for the competition.
Eight finalists were selected from 26 entries for the fourth annual "Golden Spork Awards."
The winners are:
1st Place: Sprecher Root Beer: Everything Root Beer Float Cake
2nd Place: Saz's Bavarian Haus: Klement's Famous Racing Sausage Corn Dog
3rd Place: Water Street Brewery: Deep Fried Ol' Fashioned

A panel of local celebrity judges – with some help from fairgoers – chose the recipients of the four Golden Spork Awards Wednesday.

Again this year, one lucky fairgoer had the opportunity to sit alongside the celebrity panel and taste-test the final creations as a guest judge.
Fair guests were encouraged to participate in the judging during the fair by sampling all of the Sporkies entries and voting for their favorites.
