Packers slim down roster to 53-man limit

GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers stunned many by cutting three-time Pro Bowl guard Josh Sitton on Saturday, September 3rd. Packers General Manager Ted Thompson is calling it the best move for the team and the offensive line.

The bombshell news comes as part of the effort to get the roster down to 53 players by Saturday.
