Plans underway for 2017 return of China Lights at Boerner Botanical Gardens
HALES CORNERS -- Plans are underway for a 2017 return of the China Lights, a celebration of Asian culture at the Boerner Botanical Gardens.
An event spokesperson tells FOX6 News China Lights would likely return around the same time frame in 2017 -- around October.
28 artisans from China started work at the Gardens on September 1. They spent the month assembling around 1,000 individual pieces that make up about 40 separate installations around the grounds. And because of the success of the show, China Lights has been extended to be open to visitors through November 6th.
