Woman injured after being struck by vehicle near 23rd & Lincoln in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a serious crash involving a pedestrian that occurred early Tuesday morning, November 22nd.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. near 23rd and Lincoln.

According to police, a 34-year-old woman ran out into the street and was struck by a westbound 2006 Ford Focus. The operator of the Ford, a 33-year-old woman from Milwaukee, remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The victim, also from Milwaukee, was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation
