GREEN BAY — The 6-6 Green Bay Packers, third in the NFC North, will be back at Lambeau Field on Sunday, December 11th to face the 8-3 Seattle Seahawks — first in the NFC West.

Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m. — and it’s a game you’ll see ONLY ON FOX6!

Heading into Sunday’s game, the Packers are coming off a 21-13 WIN vs. the Houston Texans at Lambeau.

The Packers and Seahawks meet Sunday for the fifth time since 2012. Green Bay leads the all-time series, 11-8, including 2-1 in the postseason, according to Packers.com.

Green Bay is 9-3 against the Seahawks at home during the regular and postseason, including six straight wins.

The Packers and Seahawks are the only two teams in the NFC to make the playoffs each of the past four seasons.

The Packers and Seahawks last met on September 20th, 2015. The Packers won the game played at Lambeau Field 27-17. During that game, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 25 of 33 passes (75.8 percent) for 249 yards and two TDs (116.9 passer rating). Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb had game highs in receptions (eight) and receiving yards (116). Packers wide receiver Doug Baldwin had seven catches for 92 yards (13.1 avg.) and a TD. Packers linebacker Jayrone Elliott intercepted a Russell Wilson fourth-quarter pass to help the Packers seal the victory.

Some interesting notes ahead of Sunday’s matchup — according to Packers.com, for a span of eight head-to-head meetings from 1996-2008, Mike Holmgren was the head coach for one of the teams.

And, of the three postseason matchups between the teams, only the Packers’ 42-20 win in 2007 NFC Divisional Playoff was decided in regulation.

The Packers will finish the regular season with four games against NFC foes, including the last three against division opponents.

On December 18th, Green Bay goes back on the road when it travels to Chicago to take on the Bears. It will be the first time the Packers have played in Chicago in December since 2013, a 33-28 Green Bay victory.
