Police: Man missing since Christmas Eve was shot to death; body found near Mill and Menomonee River Parkway
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police on Monday, January 8th identified a body found near Mill and the Menomonee River Parkway on Sunday, January 7th as that of 33-year-old Antwone Berry.
Antwone Berry was last seen at the Dirty Dozen Clubhouse near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive & Chambers St. on Christmas Eve.
Officials with the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office on Sunday, January 7th were called out to the area near Mill and the Menomonee River Parkway -- for a death investigation.
According to police, a male subject was found dead outside at that location. The subject was identified as 33-year-old Antwone Berry.
Police say their initial investigation revealed Berry suffered from gunshot wounds.
An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
MPD is investigating this incident as a homicide and continues to seek suspect(s).
