Woman shot, seriously wounded near 11th and Atkinson; no one in custody

MILWAUKEE -- A woman was shot and seriously hurt Monday afternoon, May 14 near 11th and Atkinson.

It happened shortly before 1 p.m.

Police said the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, and police are seeking suspects.
