Police: Man dies in apparent drowning in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- A man died after being pulled from the waters of Lake Michigan off the Kenosha coast on Friday, July 19.

According to the Kenosha Police Department, rescue crews responded to an area in Eichelman Park around 6:30 p.m.

Officials say despite rescue efforts, the man died due to drowning.

Authorities did not disclose the name or age of the victim.
