What it takes to star in Planet of the Apes

With the most recent movie of the Planet of the Apes series: 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' now in theaters, Gino tries his hand, hands, arms, and legs, at what it takes to star as an ape in the movie.

MILWAUKEE - ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ is in theaters now, and as you may have guessed, there are a lot of apes on screen.

And while it takes CGI to make that happen, the apes and feral humans are all based on the movement of real-life actors.

Gino Salomone got to chat with the movement coach for the film, and he even got to try his hand at walking like an ape.
