MUKWONAGO -- A big celebration in Mukwonago on Friday, July 8th -- at Citizens Bank!

The bank's former president and board chairman, Warren Hansen, will turn 100 years old on Monday, July 11th!

Hansen began working with the bank in 1958, and remained on the board of directors until 2007.

Warren also served as the bank president from 1971 to 1982.

Those who know him say he's been a big part of the community for decades.

"Warren is very popular. I've heard success stories. I've heard people thank Warren for loans he helped with to start businesses 40 or 50 years ago and people are thankful for that," Doug Bruins, president of Citizens Bank said.

Not only did Hansen serve the bank, he has also been a member of the Racine County Board, chairman of the Town of Waterford and a member of the Waterford School Board.

Even in retirement, he continues to be active in the Mukwonago Kiwanis Club.
