10-vehicle crash temporarily shut down I-43 NB in Ozaukee Co., 2 injured

OZAUKEE COUNTY -- A ten-vehicle accident temporarily shut down all lanes on northbound I-43 near Mequon Road in Ozaukee County early Tuesday morning, Jan. 29.  Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

All lanes were shut down for around four hours due to the crash. Icy road conditions played a factor in the accident

"Over the next 48 hours road conditions have the potential to be continually dangerous. Please use caution while driving and allow extra time to arrive safely at your destination," said officials with the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.
