186 deaths in Wisconsin due to COVID-19; 3,798 positive cases, 39K+ negative

MILWAUKEE -- Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Wednesday, April 15 reported 3,721 positive cases of the coronavirus in the state. Of those, 1,091 have required hospitalization (29%). There have been 182 deaths in the state, according to DHS officials, and 39,326 people have tested negative for COVID-19.

The Milwaukee County coronavirus dashboard showed 1,937 positive cases of COVID-19 and 99 deaths in the county as of Wednesday afternoon.

Health officials reported additional cases and deaths Wednesday, including the first deaths in Adams County and Marinette County, bringing the statewide total to 186, and the statewide total of positive cases to 3,798.
