11,116 positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 421 deaths, 5.6K+ recovered

MILWAUKEE — The number of people in the state testing positive for COVID-19 grew to 11,116 on Wednesday, May 13. There have been 421 deaths statewide. More than 117,000 people have tested negative.

The Milwaukee County coronavirus dashboard showed 4,336 positive cases and 227 deaths related to the coronavirus in the county as of Wednesday afternoon. However, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 4,215 cases and 236 deaths in the county.

As of Wednesday, the DHS website noted there were 5,673 cases that were listed as recovered — or about 52% of the overall positive cases.
