Brookfield LensCrafters retail thefts; $3K value of stolen property

UPDATE: The Brookfield Police Department said on Friday, Jan. 24 that they have identified the women suspected of shoplifting from a LensCrafters store in two different instances.

The Brookfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying women suspected of shoplifting from a LensCrafters store in two different instances, with a retail theft value of more than $3,000.

Shoplifting case

Timeline:

Police said the first retail theft happened on Thursday, Dec. 26, at the location on Bluemound. They said three women, Black, intentionally concealed $973.00 worth of eyeglasses.

What we know:

One female is described as having medium black hair, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, boots with fur and an over-the-shoulder fur purse. The second female was wearing a black hoodie, grey leggings and black Adidas Samba shoes and carrying a tan purse. The third female was wearing black pants, a Bucks jacket with a black tank top underneath and silver shoes.

What we know:

Two of the three suspects returned on Tuesday, Jan. 21, to commit another retail theft. Police said they intentionally concealed $2,050.00 worth of eyeglasses.

Timeline:

The suspects are described as the same first suspect, but with brown slip on Uggs, a black jacket and an over-the-shoulder brown purse. The second female was wearing black boots, black pants with the word "Pink" across the back of the pants, a black North Face jacket, and had her hair in a long, single braid.

In total, police say they took approximately $3,023.

What we don't know:

For both incidents, it is unknown what vehicle suspects left in.
