2 crashes on I-43 in Sheboygan County; 4 injured
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. - A portion of I-43 was temporarily shut down in Sheboygan County Thursday morning, Jan. 13 due to a crash. All lanes have since reopened.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received several 911 calls just after 5:30 a.m. in reference to several vehicles involved in a crash on northbound I-43 near Rowe Road.
When a deputy arrived, a second vehicle crash happened on southbound I-43 at mile marker 132. A vehicle struck a pickup truck from behind causing the truck to leave the roadway and roll over, causing minor injury.

The trapped person was removed with minor injuries and transported for neck and back pain to the hospital. The ejected person was transported to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. The third victim was removed with minor injuries and taken to the hospital. A fourth victim was also transported to the hospital for back and neck pain.
The crashes remain under investigation.
