Jackson barn fire; 1 person burned, taken to hospital
Barn fire on Church Road, Jackson
JACKSON, Wis. - One person was burned and taken to a hospital after a Jackson barn fire on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
It happened on Church Road, near Sherman Road, around 5:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find the metal barn fully engulfed.

The Jackson Fire Department said the person's injuries are non-life-threatening. No other injuries were reported.
The barn was a total loss. Several adjoining structures, including a two-story home, were not damaged.

An old McDonald's went up in flames on Milwaukee's south side late Tuesday night. It happened at the vacant building near 14th and Burnham.
All water – roughly 5,000 gallons – was supplied via tanker truck; there are no fire hydrants in the area.
The Germantown, Hartford, Richfield, St. Lawrence, Slinger and West Bend fire departments assisted at the scene. The Cedarburg and Slinger fire departments, along with Lifestar EMS, also provided support.
