Milwaukee woman killed in hit-and-run near 11th and Atkinson
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee woman, 41, was killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday, Feb. 13 near 11th and Atkinson. The victim was now been identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as Sherika Lester.
Police say the driver struck the woman as she crossed the street around 6 a.m. and then fled the scene.
