Shooting near Pearl and Burnham: police

Police are investigating a shooting near Pearl and Burnham on the city's south side. The call came in shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, July 22.

The victim, a 34-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are the result of an argument and remain under investigation.  

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
