Tradition stands: Polar bear plungers take Bradford Beach by storm
MILWAUKEE - The tradition stands. Hundreds of people turned out at Milwaukee's Bradford Beach on Friday, Jan. 1 to take part in the annual Polar Bear Plunge.
The hardy ones that showed up got down to their swim gear -- and ran or waded into rather wavy conditions on the shore of Lake Michigan.
