Ben Hanson
Ben Hanson joined the FOX6 News team in June 2026 as the Racine/Kenosha County Reporter and began living in Racine at the same time to live in the community he covers.
Ben was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and went to school at Marquette University. He graduated in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. While in college, he fell in love with Southeast Wisconsin's cities, people, stories, energy and especially its beautiful lake views during the summer. He worked as a Sports Reporter for Marquette's student media organization, the Marquette Wire, and interned at WISN, WTMJ and Spectrum News in Milwaukee.
Above anything else, Ben is excited to hear people's stories and give those stories a stage to be told. He can't wait to meet the Racine and Kenosha county communities and gain the trust of the audiences that rely on him for impactful, important and locally focused stories.
