All-Star: Bucks' Damian Lillard selected as reserve for 2025 game

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard has been selected as a reserve for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, the team announced Thursday.
By the numbers:
This marks Lillard’s second All-Star Game nod in as many seasons with Milwaukee and the ninth overall of his career. The reserves for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game were selected by NBA head coaches.

In his second season with the Bucks and 13th in the NBA, Lillard is averaging 25.3 points, 7.3 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting 45.2% from the field and 92.2% from the free throw line.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Game MVP also eclipsed 22,000 career points on Jan. 19, becoming the 38th player in NBA history to reach the mark.

Lillard will be the second Bucks player to represent the team in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, joining forward Giannis Antetokounmpo who was named a starter on Jan. 23.
The Bucks have now had multiple players in the NBA All-Star Game in six of the last seven seasons.
