Pfister, Aloft hotels receive recognition from TripAdvisor.com

MILWAUKEE -- Two downtown Milwaukee hotels have received a big honor: Aloft at the Pfister have been named by the travel website TripAdvisor.com in the site's 10th annual Traveler's Choice Awards.

TripAdvisor.com named the Aloft the eighth trendiest hotel in the United States, and the Pfister was named the 13th best luxury hotel in the nation.

The rankings are based on millions of reviews from travelers within the U.S. and around the world.

The Elysian Hotel in Chicago was named the best overall hotel in the nation.
