The M&I Bank name will disappear from the Wisconsin landscape in October, and Milwaukee celebrities are cooking lunch and dinner at Benihana next week.

M&I Bank's owner, Chicago-based BMO Harris, is progressing with its plan to convert computer systems by next fall, and will unveil the new BMO Harris signs at the same time. BMO Harris is the new name for the combined M&I and Harris brands, following last summer's sale of the Milwaukee-based bank to BMO Financial.

Milwaukee celebrities, including former "Ask Gus" host Gus Gnorski, Milwaukee Wave star Michael King and County Executive Chris Abele are set to cook lunch and dinner at Benihana next week. The downtown restaurant is hosting its third annual Culinary Kings and Queens of Milwaukee County event. The event costs $50 and all proceeds support the Social Development Commission.
