MILWAUKEE -- A sad scene unfolded Monday night, March 26th at Pius XI High School, as a UW-Milwaukee student who died on Spring Break was remembered.

21-year-old Jacob Winkler graduated from Pius XI High School back in 2009. Winkler died while on Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Florida. He fell off a balcony at Gulf Coast Condominiums early Saturday morning, March 24th and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Monday, friends and family members shared memories of Winkler, and even a few laughs.

At the end of the vigil, Winkler's family led the crowd in a private prayer.

While Winkler's family did address the crowd Monday night, they did not wish to speak with the media.
