KENOSHA — Kenosha fire crews battled a brush fire Sunday afternoon, July 8th in the Town of Salem.

At one point, all lanes of Highway 50 had to be closed because of the fire, but they were later reopened.

Kenosha County Sheriff’s officials say a piece of farm machinery started the blaze. In all, 140 acres burned.
