FREDONIA — A chunk of roadway in Fredonia buckled Tuesday afternoon, July 17th — and forced road crews to get on the scene and repair it.

The buckle happened on southbound Highway 57 near County Highway W in Ozaukee County. Hwy. 57 was closed in both directions because of the buckling. County Hwy. W was also shut down temporarily.

The roadway has been repaired — and is once again open for traffic.
