Police investigating shooting at Milwaukee Job Corps.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police officials say one person was shot on Wednesday evening, February 20th at Milwaukee Job Corps.

The shooting occurred around 8:00 p.m. in the 6600 block of N. 60th Street.

The victim is said to have sustained non life threatening injuries, but was taken to the hospital.

Police do not have any suspects in custody.

Milwaukee Job Corps., according to its Web site, is a “no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through vocational and academic training."
